John C. Hitt Library Fourth Floor Renovation
The latest floor to be renovated in a multiphase, multiyear project to upgrade the John C. Hitt Library, which was originally constructed in 1968.

About the Project
The renovation of John C. Hitt Library’s fourth floor is the latest phase of a multiphase project to update the library which was constructed in 1968. Once the renovation is complete, the fourth floor will feature technology studios, a silent study area, additional open seating, study rooms and a student conference room.
The fourth floor is closed during renovation, but students may use any of the library’s other floors for study.
