A graduate of Florida Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Walter is a licensed General Contractor in the State of Florida with more than 25 years of experience in the Construction Industry. Walter started his career working with his father in high school and later in the home building industry before moving into the commercial sector. He has managed projects such as City Works Administration building for City of Oviedo, a Licensed Surgical Ward in Orlando and worked at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station for several years upgrading infrastructure. Walter arrived at UCF in 2015 as a Project Manager. While at UCF he has overseen major construction projects, manages the Job Order Contract program and a number of minor projects for the University. Some of the notable projects are: Burnett House Renovation, 21st Century Library ARC Expansion, Arecibo Observatory Assessment and JOC Program.
