The State of Florida allocated PECO (Public Education Capital Outlay) funds to UCF for the purchase and renovation of properties in the Research Park. UCF purchased two properties using these funds, which are now known as the Partnership IV and Partnership IV buildings. These buildings will be occupied primarily by military tenants, and will have a very small UCF presence in each building. Renovations are currently underway in Partnership IV with a target date of May 2019 for military occupancy. Partnership V also has design efforts underway to renovate the fourth floor (using military funds, not UCF or state funds) – this building has many existing tenants who will remain in the building and not need extensive renovations.
