After graduating from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1981 I worked for 32 years in commercial aviation. As a Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant Certificate holder I worked in aircraft maintenance and quality control. I joined UCF in 2014 for the inception of the Universities Quality Control program. After four years of both internal and external quality oversight for UCF Facilities, I was tasked with helping construct the Downtown Campus which resulted in a successful, on time opening of the campus in 2019. Since then I have been conducting Quality oversight on contractors on our campuses for the Planning, Design and Construction Department.
