Renovated Military Offices Open In Partnership IV
UCF Facilities Planning and Construction (FP&C) recently opened renovated offices for the military within our Partnership IV building, in the Central Florida Research Park (CFRP). The project is a three floor renovation of the existing building and includes new offices, cubicles/furniture, power, lighting, mass notification, fire alarm, telecommunications, and finish upgrades. The building will be home to the U.S. Army’s Synthetic Training Environment Cross Functional Team, which is spearheading the Army’s efforts to modernize training by using state-of-the-art technology to bring together virtual and real-world environments to better prepare and protect soldiers. A contingent researchers from UCF’s Institute for Simulation and Training will occupy 2,200 square feet in the Partnership IV building space, co-locating with Army personnel in the new lab space to assist in developing new training technology. https://lnkd.in/efGhd9n.
FP&C is excited to support this fantastic partnership project between UCF, the CFRP, and the U.S. Army! Thanks to our UCF Project Manager Walter Gordon, RLF Architects, Robins & Morton.
