National Weather Service Deems UCF “StormReady”

UCF was recently deemed “StormReady” by the National Weather Service, for the university’s commitment to practices that keep the campus community safe. UCF Facilities Planning and Construction (FP&C) is proud of our contribution to hurricane support. FP&C has spearheaded the ESF-19 Damage Assessment portion of hurricane response for the last two major hurricanes (Matthew and Irma), ensuring that the campus re-opens safely in as little time as possible, and tracking damages for follow-up repair. We also work with our contractors to ensure that active jobsites are properly prepared for storms. Hopefully storms pass us by in 2019… but if not, UCF is READY!
